Unicorn Crepes, Seattle, Revisited

Meta: June 12th 2008 // Explore + Latest Addictions + Rockin' The Mic + Seattle Stomp + Yum

Unicorn CrepesSeattle’s International District is slowly becoming revitalized and recognized as a new urban destination with new restaurants and attractions plus less meth-addicted homeless people in front of that popular bubble tea cafe. A welcome addition to the “ID”, as Seattle natives refer it to, is the Japanese inspired Unicorn Crepes. While you may think that a crepe restaurant would have an assortment of American and French styled crepes on the menu (with a snooty French chef always saying “Alors” to boot); you won’t find any of that at Unicorn Crepes. While their dessert menu does offer favorites such as strawberries, bananas, chocolate, custard, ice cream and nuts, it’s their crepes containing either tuna, egg or potato salad that earn the dubious double take. With a new and modern feel plus a friendly staff, Unicorn Crepes is worth a visit next time you are in Seattle’s “ID”.
