It is always a challenge to find a shoe rack that isn’t conventional or boring as the rest of them out there. Winner of the 2006 Good Design award, Rakku’s Shoe Wheel is a good break from the traditional designed shoe racks we run into much too often. Depending on the type of shoe, the wheel is able to hold up to 30 pairs, inserted and held intact by elastic bands in the back of the wheel. I have seen many shoe racks, from Ikea to Target, try to be innovative and functional, but still end up looking like a plain shoe rack. If I had one, I would be adventurous and spin the wheel really hard and force myself to wear whatever pair of shoes land on top, no matter what I am wearing.
