I didn’t have a chance to watch this year’s Miss Universe, but when a co-worker told me that four out of the top five finalists were of Latin origin, it made me go and eat some tacos in order to celebrate. Columbia, Venezuela (Winner), Dominican Republic and good ol’ Mexico rounded out the top five. Not only are they all of Latin American orgin, but they all come from under-developed countries. Miss Mexico, Elisa Najera, is actually an aspiring engineer and her favorite class is Chemistry. My least favorite class was Chemistry, but hey, they say opposites attract don’t they? As ambassadors of the Latin culture, I salute these women, not because they are hot and in bikinis, but because they are proof that we will soon take over the world. So to you four women, I award you the Cool Peepz title.
