Onitsuka Tiger is the name of Japan’s first sports shoe brand. The shoes have enjoyed immense popularity in both Asia and Europe, but it seems like the craze is slowly edging toward the United States. Their most popular shoe is called the “Mexico 66″, but the variety of colors and prints they come out with seem to be endless. They have gotten so popular, in fact, that when new limited editions come out they are gone faster than Britney Spear’s career. Those cool yellow shoes Uma Thurman wears when she slaughters 88 crazy Japanese? Those would be Onitsuka Tiger my friends. Many stores exist in Europe (U.K. and Paris), Tokyo and Australia, but you can find them in many online shoe stores such as Classic Sport Shoes. Comfy and Stylish (but not blood proof), I strongly urge anyone to check out these shoes. Expect to see way more of them on the street.
