Who says Salt and Pepper Shakers can’t be racially diverse. The folks over at Alessi are offering designer (Giovannoni Stefano, Takeda Rumiko) kitchen accessories in the form of a Chinese family with a very common last name (Chin). You can get salt and pepper shakers, pepper grinders, magnets, kitchen timers, book-markers, key rings and even cell phone charms. I can see people either loving these or being greatly offended by them, which is why you should look into them. Why have a regular pepper grinder when you can whip one out
that may or may not cause controversy. I wonder if they become really popular we will see other families from around the globe. One can hope for salt and pepper shakers from “The Garcia Family”, “The McDonnelly Family”, “The Yi Family” or “The Gandhi Family” in the near future. Grab them over at ALESSI.
