LOMME, which stands for Light Over Matter Mind Evolution, is a “piece of furniture, a work of art and a place to rejuvenate” as the creators mildly put it. Light is a main feature integrated into the design whereas the user is able to change lights according to their mood or preference. The light is also designed to mimic a sunrise in order to wake you up. The bed is designed to limit external music, but adds Ipod integration in order to sleep or relax to the music of your choice. So if you like Enya, you will probably have sweet dreams involving Unicorns, but if you like Slipknot, then you will most likely dream murder scenes and George Bush. Which additional features such as massage and radiation protection (from all those Nuclear Plant Factories), LOMME is a truly unique and inspired modern design for the bedroom. It will surely make any visitor ask questions like “Is it an Egg?”, “Does it affect your favorite sexual positions” to “Will it Time Travel?” One thing for sure, the LOMME bed is certainly cool.
