Audio Day Dream - Blake Lewis
Seattle Native and American Idol runner-up, Blake Lewis, has released his first album since the competition ended earlier this year. Most people believed it was better that he didn’t win since he would have more creative control over his own album (it also seemed like the producers were going for the same idea, considering the song the winner had to release which was obviously not geared toward a male beatboxer). Break Anotha is a good first single, yet other songs on the album seem catchier, such as How Many Words. Considering I haven’t heard of a beatboxer recently releasing an album, I would consider the album semi-original at the moment. By the way, the 80’s called they want their cover back. Buy it over at AMAZON or ITUNES.
