I always said that Seattle didn’t really know what rain was. One would think that statement coming from an Arizonian would be weird, but when it rains in Arizona, it is like getting bitch-slapped by Thor kinda rain. Sure it is rainy and drizzling here more than any other city I have been to, but it has never constantly rained in massive quantities. The first time I really saw it rain a lot was during last years famous Wind Storm in December. This December is no different as another Winter Storm has hit the Pacific Northwest. Some highlights include:
-State of Emergency declared by Governor Christine Gregoire
-Westlake closed due to mudslide.
-Golden Gardens to be closed until Spring
-I-5 to be closed for three days
-Public Transportation moving slower than Keith Richards when intoxicated
