It wasn’t until the second trailer that the film caught my interest. But it was the age restricted red band trailer that had me yelling “Holy Shiat!” (the neck stab, lawnmower rundown and dog attack). This weekend has a hard choice for weekend moviegoers. On one side you have The Incredible Hulk, which has people hesitating since the first one was a stinking pile of dog crap. On the other side you have The Happening, where we get to see what M. Night Shyamalan has come up with this time, hoping he is going back to his original and breathtaking writing. Judging from the trailers alone, my pick would be The Happening (although if both storylines are poop, then in The Incredible Hulk we at least get kick-ass action scenes.) We’ll see…the buzz about The Happening online isn’t that positive, but I’m willing to give Mr. Shyamalan another shot.
